Happy Friday people … for those of us dreaming of a beach getaway this weekend (or in the near future), here’s some inspiration from a lovely location in South Africa ….

This beach house with gorgeous ocean view is located in Paternoster, a small fishing village two hour away from Cape Town, South Africa.

Owner and architect Paul Versfeld created this holiday home to escape the busy life in Johannesburg with his family in weekends and during holidays. The architecture is inspired by local fishermen’s huts. The decor is simple with natural materials, such as wood, rattan and pine, creating an authentic look and a warm atmosphere. With its direct access to the beach, this home the perfect place to relax and unwind!
